Sector Teams

Our seven Sector Teams are carefully organised and span a wide range of industries. These include Tactical & Thematic, Healthcare, Materials & Industrials, Financials & Real Estate, Materials & Industrials, Green Technology & Related Systems and Cloud Computing & Software. Sector Teams consist of Senior and Junior Analysts, who work with and under the guidance of their respective Sector Head to produce termly investment opportunities for the fund in the form of stock pitches.

Stock pitches take place at each weekly meeting, after a series of macroeconomic and portfolio updates delivered by the Chief Investment Officer and Chief Risk Officer. These pitches follow a fundamental bottom-up approach, with extensive research being conducted on the stock in question. Then, a Q&A session will follow where the pitching analysts receive critique from the rest of the fund - not to undermine the pitch, but with the sole intention to generate the greatest levels of alpha for the fund. Finally, a vote takes place where the decision is made whether or not to invest - by all members of the fund.

Sector Heads 2025/26

Sector Heads are responsible for the output of research and information on their respective sector in weekly fund meetings, mentoring junior analysts, and acting as the first port of call for any sector-specific questions. Sector Heads take the lead on generating innovative investment ideas and must meet with their teams to discuss research and ideas a minimum of twice a term.
